Daily Schedule

(to be eligible for summer dance camp, students must have completed

Level I Ballet Technique)

8:00 a.m. Doors open for students

8:15 a.m.-8:45 a.m. Devotion/Prayer/ Bible Study

8:45 a.m.-9:30 a.m. Morning Worship Stretch

9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Classical Ballet Technique

11:00 a.m.-11:45 p.m. Pointe Technique (for pointe and non-pointe students)/Variations/Intro to Partnering

11:45 p.m.-12:30 p.m. Lunch Break

12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Jazz Technique

2:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Repertory Choreography (Fridays we will take this time for Dance History, Music History, Classical Ballet Overviews and Choreography)

3:30 p.m.-3:45 p.m. Dismissal

4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Extended Day “Princess Academy”

*Students will be available to be picked up after 3:30 p.m. every afternoon while we are transitioning to our Extended Day Program “The Dance Candle Princess Academy”. Students who are not participating in the Extended Day Program MUST be picked up by 4:00 p.m. or an additional cost for extended day will automatically be added.

Summer Tuition

Full Day- $150/week (due on the week prior to class); (4th of July week tuition $100)

Half Day $110/week

Extended Day $50/week

Special Summer Tuition Dance Bundles

In a continued effort to serve families and keep our dance program affordable, we are offering these savings for families and students who will be with us for four weeks or more.

For students registering for four (4) weeks $525 ($75 savings)/ $400 half Day ($40 savings)

For students registering for five (5) weeks $650 ($100 savings)/ $ 500 Half Day ($50 savings)

For students registering for six (6) weeks $775 ($125 savings)/ $600 half day ($60 savings)

Special Notes

A one-time non-refundable registration fee for new students of $35 is due when students sign up for summer session. ($25 registration fee for returning students)

Tuition is due the week prior to the class(es) being taken.

A 10% family discount will be applied for parents registering more than one child; 15% for families registering more than two children.

Students will need to bring lunch Monday-Thursday and a snack Monday-Friday. Pizza will be provided every Friday for our “Fun Fridays”.

Field Trips: We will be planning 2 or 3 field trips this summer. As we confirm differing weeks, we will let you know. Though we try to plan field trips that will not incur additional costs, please be advised that there may be one or two that may include an additional cost and may need chaperones to attend as well.

Field Trip Schedule

Dear Parents,

This summer I am very excited about the summer field trip offerings for the students. Not only will we spend a second year visiting the fantastic Museum of the Bible in Washington DC, but the students in Level 3 (based on teacher’s discretion) and Level 4 classes will have the opportunity to take a master class with Elbert Watson and his adult dancers and dance company in Norfolk, VA. Parents are welcome to attend any of our field trips. Please let me know of your interest!
